I was disappointed with this year's announcements. I haven't seen every new TV announced, but with the push to curved and 4K, I'm guessing there aren't any 55"+ 1080p OLED (flat) TVs that will be decently priced? It took 3 guys to bring down my old 60" Vizio Plasma TV so I can install a rock wall. But I no longer want to put it back up so I gave it to my in-laws. I have a temp 55" Vizio LCD that I bought secondhand as a temporary place holder and it isn't cutting it.
Any recommendations on an above average Tv with good black levels and viewing angels? I don't care for all the bells and whistles. I care most about picture quality.
thanks!
Hi Ohms! LG showed off several 55" OLED TVs including a flat model, and all screens 55" and larger are transition to 4K UHD resolution. Also, all of LG's 4K UHD LCD TVs feature IPS panels that offer excellent off-axis viewing.

I'll take a look. Are there any new podcasts we can see you in? Thanks Robert!

Really looking forward to installing some new LG models. Always been a fan of Samsung, but would like to hear the HK audio systems on LG and just to even see and Quantum Dot display would be a treat. We'll either have to take a trip to a local big box store or hoping we get called for a mounting of one.
As always, enjoyed your review and input.
